The Statment of Faith

1. • The Bible: COGIC believes that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God, serving as the ultimate authority for faith and practice.

   • The Trinity: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.

   • Salvation: The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Ghost is essential for personal salvation.

   • The Holy Spirit: The baptism of the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit enables Christians to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

   • Healing: COGIC believes that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in response to believing prayer.

   • The Rapture: The church anticipates the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
