A Bad Chapter is not the End of the Story

"What? shall we not receive at the hand of God and shall not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips" (Job 3:10). Every book has chapters. All of them chapters build up to the conclusion. In the chapters there are good events as will as bad events. Life is like a story being told, complete with episodes and chapters. Just because you go through a bad chapter doesn't mean you have come to the end of the story. Sometimes it's the bad chapters or episodes that really make you appreciate the story. If the story is full of sucesses without cointroversy or challenge it makes a bad & boring story. Job was a rich man, greatly blessed with a beautiful family. He loved God and served Him faithfully. But his faithfulness to God got him in trouble because it upset the devil. But here is a twist, God bragged about him!!! Can you imagine God bragging about a man? Many times are trials are because God allowed Satan to invade our space and touch our substance. Life has chapters and sometimes these chapters are unpleasant and harsh, they are full of trouble. But as we read on on in the book of Job, they bad experiences were only chapters in the overall book. Book all of the chapters were a part of the overall story. Our stories are not finished yet! Just becaused we may be going through trouble, or unpleasant times in our lives does not mean the story is over. Live on, things are going to change. Even as I look over historic figures who have triumphed and have left their footprints in the sands of time, we remember thier triumphs and victories, but their entire lives were not victorious. Sometimes they encountered trouble, setback, controversy, failures. But there are remembered for their victories. Job blessed the Lord in his trouble  as well as his victories. Continue to bless the Lord regardless of what your situation is now. Just because you are going through a bad chapter doesn't mean this is the end or your story!!!
