Don't Lose Focus

Did you know someone else besides Jesus walked on water? Of course Jesus could, He was all man and all God, the creator of all things, including nature and the laws of nature. But Peter was a mortal man who, because of the beaconing of Jesus, got out of the secure boat to take a dangerous venture that could have cost him his life, drowning in the boisterous sea. "And when Peter was come out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus" (St. Matthew 14:29) As long as he kept his eyes on Jesus he walked on the water towards him. It was not until he became distracted by the rising waves that he began to sink, crying "LORD, Save me!!!" There are many distractions that would cause us to take focus off of Jesus and hence, we sink. Regardless of what happens KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS & you will stay afloat.
