More than Just Believing

"You believe that there is one God, you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble" (James 2:19). Just believing is not the same as acting upon what you believe. Note the depth of this verse. Just believing raises us no higher than the faith of devils, they believe too. Being a follower of Christ is a whole different category of people. If you follow Christ He is the example of lifestyle, mannerism, and action. Unfortunately, many believe, but go no further and hence, never come into the full knowledge of Christ, and will still be lost for eternity. Apostle Paul said, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ" (I Corinthians 11:1)
