Servants

Sometimes I think we forget that we are servants. The motive of the servant is to seek and perform the will of his master, not the other way around! If we are servants of the most high God, as we say, we should be seeking Him to learn and perform His will. Often, because of the false teachings that are going around we have an attitude that God owes us. I remember being in a service where the evangelist told everyone to "Point your finger towards heaven and say, God! give me everything I deserve!!!" It is this kind of arrogance that has gotten many off in the first place. If He were to give us what we DESERVE we would all be in Hell right now. We are saved by Grace. In other words we are not saved because we are good or deserving, it is because He is good to us. We are never good enough to go to heaven. It is because of His love towards us that He died and paid the price for our redemption. Now what kind of fool would you be to start to demand things of Him because you think you deserve it? Humble yourself and become a servant to the master
