Thank God For His Mercy

"O give thanks unto the LORD. For His mercy endureth forever" (Psalms 136:2) "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (St. Matthew 5:7) "But if you do not forgive, neither will your heavenly father forgive your trespasses" (St Mark 11:26) I am a recipient of the MERCY of God because He has forgiven me. I am a flawed and failed individual. Being better off does not make me better!!! And I rejoice because God Almighty is merciful to me, this flawed individual. But notice the condition, "...as we for give those who trespass against us" We must forgive. Everyone that has hurt us, lied to us, done us wrong. Afterall, what have we done that has offended our LORD, and yet He is merciful if we repent. Things known and many things unknown that we have done, and yet the LORD is merciful. The greatest gift to the world is God sending His only begotten son into the world to pay for our sins, small and great. If we follow Him we can be forgiven; we can be a recipient of His mercy. If we reject Him, our sin remains and we will pay the consequence. FORGIVE! BECAUSE WE ARE FORGIVEN!!!
