Trump: The Great Divider

If America lived up to her creed, particularly towards African Americans and other minorities, as stated in her Declaration of Independence,  ",,,that all men are created equal" the protests during the playing of the National Anthem before sporting events would not be necessary. It is a backlash of injustices, not only recent event of senseless murders of Black young men at the hands of police, but the historic mistreatment towards Blacks embedded in the very fabric of the American flag. America has never been kind to Black people. It's history is full if racism, prejudice, and discrimination. And yet,  except for a few slave rebellions or a few small isolated incidents, Blacks have by and large protested peacefully within the limits of the law. Has anyone even inform the POTUS why Colin Kapernick protested, or is he just an ungrateful SOB who should be fired! Or all of the other black athletes who are rising up and speaking against the injustices that have plagued Black people for so long. And mind you they don't have to go back as far as my generation or my parents generations. Just look within today's headlines. And so according to our President that makes them, or anybody who disrepects the flag an SOB. Donald Trump is taking this nation backwards. Most of us are smart enough read between the lines, decode the message, as it were, of the campaign platform "Make America White Again!" And all who don't agree is an SOB!!!
